Yonatan Berkovits

Yonatan Berkovits is a lawyer specializing in free speech and protecting the rights of journalists. For six years, he served as Vice-President, Business & Legal Affairs at VICE Media, where he provided legal counsel in connection with news and documentary programming, including the multiple-Emmy-winning VICE News Tonight on HBO. He has also worked as a screenwriter for film and television, including stints on sitcom writing staffs. These days, he’s a stay-at-home dad who writes books on the side. He lives in Brooklyn with his wife and two daughters, ages nine and three.
