Wren Lennox is a disabled and queer writer based in Aotearoa New Zealand. They write literary fantasy, gothic fiction, and horror that explores the emotional and psychological edges of monstrosity, grief, and divinity. Their work often centres queer lives and feminine rage, using speculative frameworks to engage with real world systems of violence.
Wren has been writing seriously for over a decade, a path shaped by their experience of chronic illness. Their prose is lyrical and emotionally driven, drawing influence from authors such as Anne Rice and Brandon Sanderson, as well as the music of Fleetwood Mac, A-ha, Bilmuri, and Paramore.
They are currently working on Mariota, a gothic literary fantasy.
When not writing, Wren can usually be found listening to music, daydreaming about cowboys, or crying over both at once. They are an Aries, for better or worse.
