Tyler Stasi is a speculative writer based in New Jersey. She writes weird horror and epic fantasy, sometimes with a literary edge, but always with an undercurrent of exploring the strangeness of humanity and the intricacies of our surroundings. Her work often centers bold women who defy others’ expectations.Tyler’s writing journey began as most authors’ do, through her love of books, poetry, and music. Her prose style draws influence from authors such as Leigh Bardugo, Holly Black, Susanna Clarke, and Clarice Lispector. She would consider herself a Lady Gaga x David Bowie x Guillermo del Toro hybrid artist. She is currently working on THE FRUITIST, a literary horror fantasy. When not writing, Tyler can usually be found listening to indie folk music and finding ways to incorporate as many trinkets into her life as possible. She is an Aries, and an ENFP.
