Tiffany Obeng

Tiffany is a lawyer by day and an author by night. Armed with caramel hard candies and scented hand cream (the true tools of literary genius), she crafts children’s picture books that educate, inspire, and entertain.

In 2020, Tiffany founded Sugar Cookie Books publishing imprint and has since published over 20 picture books featuring Black children and families in spaces where they’ve historically been absent—or just living their everyday, beautifully normal lives. Her goal? To make representation so common that one day, it’s not even a discussion.

Her books include the career-themed Andrew Learns about Lawyers and Andrew Learns about Engineers, the seasonal favorite Spencer Knows Spring, and the honesty-packed Scout's Honor.
