The Anna Jarota Agency was founded in Paris in 2008, and the agency now proudly represents over 50 clients from the US, Canada, the UK, Australia, East Asia, the Netherlands, Spain, Italy and Germany among others, into the French market. Anna Jarota opened a second office in Warsaw in 2014, and the AJA office in Poland represents some of these same clients and others into over 20 territories in Eastern Europe, including but not limited to Poland, Ukraine, Czech Republic, the Baltic States and Russia. |

Elizabeth Atkins is co-director of A.C.E.R. Agencia Literaria, a longstanding and prestigious agency in Spain. Elizabeth represents publishers and agents from the United States and the United Kingdom to sell Spanish and Portuguese translation rights to publishers in Portugal, Brazil, Mexico and all other Latin American countries. Petula Chapin, Foreign Rights Co-Agent
Petula Chaplin runs her own independent rights agency based in the UK representing children’s publishers and literary agents from around the globe, including US publishers Peachtree and Charlesbridge’s titles into European and English language markets. She has over thirty years of rights selling experience, having worked in the rights departments for a number of major publishers such as Penguin Random House, Harper Collins, and Egmont before leaving London with her family to live in the southwest of England and then establishing her rights agency in 2012. Petula attends the London, Bologna and Frankfurt book fairs to meet with publishers from across the globe and present the new picture book and fiction titles from her client publishers. Recent highlights have been selling Marc J. Gregson’s SKY’S END to BookChef in Ukraine, A J White’s three YA novels to Daphne Press in the UK and Cass Biehn’s new 2025 YA novel to Hachette UK. Marianne Schönbach, Foreign Rights Co-Agent Marianne Schönbach has been working in the publishing and book world for more than 20 years: she has been an acquiring editor for foreign and German fiction, a publisher, a reviewer, a translator, and a chair of literary juries. She studied Romance languages and literary studies, journalism, and modern history in Mainz (Germany) and Aix-en-Provence (France), and completed her studies with a Master's degree. In 2001, she founded her literary agency in Amsterdam, with Piper Verlag as her first client. She reads the following languages: German, French, English, and Spanish. |
