Lizzy Rizzi

Lizzy Rizzi is a children’s book author and educator living abroad with her family in Northern Italy. A former high school literature teacher, she now works in an Italian preschool teaching English as a Second Language to 2-6 year olds where she uses picture books every day to inspire a love of language. She also blogs about choosing and using picture books in the ELL classroom on her website, lizzyrizzi.com.
Lizzy’s debut picture book, THE WIND CHILD, is set for publication with Marble Press in Spring 2025. Followed by her first nonfiction picture book, JUMP! The Daring Life of Tiny Broadwick, the First Lady of Parachuting, set for publication with Reycraft Books in Fall 2025. When not writing, reading, or teaching, she can be found snuggling with her two kids or binge-watching Netflix with her husband. Lizzy is represented by Lisa Amstutz. Publications
