Jenna Grodzicki is the author of more than 20 books for children. Her nonfiction picture book, I See Sea Food: Sea Creatures That Look Like Food (Millbrook Press, 2019) was the winner of the 2020 Connecticut Book Award in the Young Readers Nonfiction category. It also received a starred review from Booklist and is a finalist for the 2023 Monarch Book Award. Jenna’s other picture books include

Jenna has written chapter book biographies for Rockridge Press, including The Story of Henry Ford: A Biography Book for New Readers (2022), The Story of Babe Ruth: A Biography Book for New Readers (2021), and The Story of Princess Diana: A Biography Book for New Readers (2021).
Jenna also writes for the school and library market. She has written six titles for Bearport Publishing’s Baby Animals series and nine titles for their Library of Awesome Animals series, including Pink River Dolphin, a Kansas National Education Association’s Reading Circle recommended title. She has published several leveled readers with Teacher Created Materials.
Jenna has a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Boston College and a Master’s in Education from the University of New England. She is a library media specialist at a K-4 school.
