Dr. Goali Saedi Bocci

Goali Saedi Bocci, Ph.D., is an award-winning licensed clinical psychologist in private practice, published author, millennial expert, TEDx speaker, and educational trainer. She earned her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Notre Dame, completed her internship at the University of California, Berkeley, and completed her postdoctoral fellowship at Stanford University.
When she’s not writing clinical notes, Dr. Bocci has been blogging for Psychology Today for over a decade; her Millennial Media blog has garnered more than three million hits worldwide. She is also the author of The Millennial Mental Health Toolbox, The Social Media Workbook for Teens, the Digital Detox Deck, PhDiva, and The Positivity Workbook for Teens. She is a sought-after expert for outlets including TIME, Newsweek, ABC News, The New York Times, Cosmopolitan, and more, and has been a recurring guest on shows such as AM Northwest and Good Morning San Diego. Dr. Bocci currently serves as an adjunct professor for Pepperdine University’s Graduate School of Education and Psychology. She has also taught undergraduate courses at Stanford University and the University of Notre Dame. Among the many hats she wears, her favorite is her wide-brimmed sun hat, as she loves to rejuvenate through solar power à la WALL-E. Born along California’s coast and raised under Oregon’s misty evergreens, she recently traded her flannel for flip-flops, drizzly mornings for stunning sunsets, and mossy forests for desert blooms. She lives in Scottsdale, Arizona, with her husband and highly spirited daughter, where she regrettably enjoys all things pumpkin spice, keeps up with teen romance dramas “for research,” bakes far too many muffins, and loves outdoor yoga. Goali is represented by Jenna Satterthwaite. |
