Connie Chang
Connie Chang grew up a bit nomadically, splitting her childhood between New Jersey, Michigan, and Japan. She holds a B.A. with a triple major in English, German, and Psychology from the University of Michigan, and also earned her J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School. By day, Connie writes in her role as a corporate nonprofit attorney. By night, she co-writes speculative fiction with her husband, J.M. Blakemore. Their short fiction has been recommended by Locus magazine, was featured most recently in khōréō magazine, was shortlisted for the 2022 Brave New Weird Award, and won the 2018 NYC Midnight Flash Fiction Competition.
When she isn't writing, Connie can be found decorating cakes, singing karaoke, and being an affectionate mother to her neurotic hound Archie, her goofy orange cat Tails, and her increasingly mischievous daughter, Isadora.
