Cassidy Dyce

Cassidy Dyce is an author and educator based in Virginia. She served as a writer assistant to Newbery Prize Medalist Kwame Alexander and has worked as a scriptwriter and associate producer for NPR, as well as a scriptwriter for ABCmouse. A former Hugo House fellow (2020-2021), she also taught creative writing and fiction through Seattle Arts and Lectures' Writer-In-The-Schools (WITS) program. Cassidy is the founder of Writing Black @ The House, a community that uplifts Black creatives while welcoming artists of all backgrounds.
