Bei Bei (BB) Chen is a pediatrician, mom, and lifelong explorer. She grew up in different countries, spending her childhood devouring sugar canes, poutine, falafel… and books. Along the way, she discovered that no matter where we come from, what languages we speak, or what stories we carry, we’re all governed by the same biology, and we all long for the same things: love, meaningful connection, and a sense of belonging. That realization is what led her to become a doctor.
BB began writing children’s books during her medical residency as a way to connect with families beyond the clinic. Her stories are inspired by her own childhood, her patients, her kids, and the everyday magic of growing up. Through her work as a doctor, writer, and healthcare startup co-founder, she hopes to bring comfort, clarity, and joy to families everywhere. Her lifelong dream is to one day spot her book in bookstores around the world… just waiting to be explored by curious young readers. Bei Bei is represented by Sheila Fernley. |
