Becky Goodman writes picture books featuring quirky characters with deep hopes and fantastic flaws. From early on, Becky had a story for those times frogs invited themselves indoors, library books landed in ponds, and pets required haircuts. Finding humor in hardship is her passion, and she aims to encourage readers to laugh through challenges, with the comfort that they’re not alone.
A former elementary educator with an MS in Language and Literacy, Becky is a member of SCBWI, Writing Barn’s Courage to Create, and some incredible critique groups. When she’s not writing or reading, she’s hiking, dancing, catching a live performance, or buying just one more plant. Becky lives with her chef-like husband, two artsy teens, and one perfect pillow-stealing dog. Becky is represented by Sheila Fernley. |
