Arefa Tehsin

Arefa Tehsin grew up exploring jungles with her naturalist father and was often found trying to catch a snake or spin a yarn. She is the author of 20+ books and contributes leading publications like Hindustan Times, The Indian Express and The Hindu. Her works have been shortlisted for several major awards including The Asian Prize for Fiction. Her picture book The Elephant Bird was read at 3,200+ locations on a single day and translated into 35+ languages. She also served as Honorary Wildlife Warden of Udaipur.
