Aminah Pangilinan

From a young age, Aminah Pangilinan’s illustrations have carried stories from slice of life. As an illustrator based in the Philippines, her local communities and culture have propped up the best kind of environment for drawing pieces that tell a story through character design and composition, unique to the experiences she had as a child. In addition, she has also worked on original character designs, which were inspired by little creatures who added whimsy in her mundane activities.
Her interests in creating fan arts have paved her way to illustrating book covers for clients like Anvil Publishing, where she had illustrated the cover for “Si Iska at Ang Nawawalang Kampana,” and “When He Fell For Me” under FlutterFic. Moreover, she has also enjoyed designing characters for clients from books across genres such as romance and fantasy. When she’s not hunched over her desk, or scrolling through Pinterest for inspiration, Aminah likes to read, watch animated films, or to travel out of town. Aminah is represented by Madelyn Knecht. |
