Storm Literary Agency

Boutique literary agency representing quality literature from exceptional authors and illustrators

First, there was a  teacher who loved books almost as much as she loved little children. Then, there was an artist who loved pirates, almost as much as he loved cats. As it turns out, that artist could also write, and that teacher loved the pirate stories he wrote. And she shared those stories with the children she taught. The children loved the pirate stories; they also loved the cats. They wanted more stories with pirates and cats. They also wanted an adventure. And the stories gave them so many adventures. And that is that: Storm Literary Agency came about because it needed to. The children requested it. And so did the cats.

Storm Literary Agency welcomes submissions from unique and talented authors and illustrators, those who are not afraid to embrace their capacity to teach, to entertain, to engage and to honor people, young and old, who hopefully, will be changed by the work represented here.

For a decade, Dazzle listened to the shoulds of the grown-up world, until she gave her coulds a chance and jumped aboard the writing train.

Now she draws from the passing scenes of a previous life in Marketing & Media, which once involved riding an ATV on lava trails and rolling out a reality TV show. Having snuck in some writing at every job, her work has been published in top Philippine fashion and travel magazines, on websites across Asia, and as content for global brands.

Madly in love with the ‘kidlit’ community, she is a member of various critique circles and groups such as 12X12 and SCBWI, where she’s met the warmest, most wonderful people.

Dazzle lives in Metro Manila, Philippines, where she attended top schools and graduated with honors. She attributes her education outside the classroom to the three things her parents always let the family spend on: books, food, and travel.

Her two kids and their dog provide her with endless material for stories. So she writes at a pace that if she were holding a quill, the feather would be on fire—and she’d keep writing anyway.

Dazzle’s debut picture book, WHEN AN ELEPHANT HEARS NO (Page Street Kids, 2024), illustrated by Estrela Lourenço, explores the nuances of this tiny, tricky word in a little elephant’s wild, wide world.

Dazzle and Estrela team up again for WHEN A RHINO HAS TO WAIT (Page Street Kids, 2025), a little rhino’s rough encounters with a powerful word that can stop a charge in its tracks…and steer rushers and rammers toward the practice—and pleasant surprises—of patience.
